An ailing loggerhead rescued by a state wildlife enforcement officer Sunday evening is on the road to recovery at the N.C. Aquarium on Roanoke Island’s sea turtle hospital.

The 196-pound turtle is suffering from a respiratory infection and some balance issues. She’s being treated with antibiotics, the Network For Endangered Sea Turtles reports.
