No one was injured in a Monday afternoon fire on Beach Road in Kitty Hawk.
The call went out at 4:08 p.m. in the 4100 block of North Virginia Dare Trail. Fire officials no one was in the house at the time. The blaze appears to have started on the exterior and spread to the interior.
Southbound traffic on Beach Road was diverted as fire crews fought the blaze.
