The Currituck Animal Shelter has provided an update on a pair of animal neglect cases they are involved with, and how you can assist the animals that have been taken into their care at the shelter in Maple.

Currituck Animal Control was called to seize four dogs and seven cats from a home in Knotts Island on Wednesday, and then 47 adult labs and 14 puppies from a breeder in Moyock on Friday.

Adoption applications are now being accepted at www.adoptcurrituckanimals.com. The shelter is also in need of supplies that can be dropped off at the shelter at 140 Aviation Parkway off U.S. 158 near Central Elementary School or ordered via Amazon.

More details can be found at the Currituck Animal Shelter Facebook page.
