On Monday at 12:21 p.m. the Dare County Sheriff’s Office Communications Division received a 911 call from the 150 block of Etheridge Road on Roanoke Island about a person that had been stabbed. Deputies responded to the area and quickly apprehended a subject without incident.
Dylan Riggs, 18, of Manteo was arrested and charged with an assault with a deadly weapon with the intent to kill inflicting serious injury.
Riggs is currently being held at the Dare County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center with no bond.
