The OBX U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary is rolling out new boater education courses, and they’re going like hotcakes! This one will too. OBX Waterways: A Virtual Tour from the Boater’s Perspective is a two-hour Zoom seminar for any boater who has limited experience with the Outer Banks waterways.
This online seminar is presented with OpenCPN electronic navigation software and Google Earth for a bird’s eye view of everything the Outer Banks water ways have to offer boaters. From seeing the layout of OBX sounds, rivers, and channels to locating fun attractions, marinas, and spotting Danger Areas.
