As excitement builds for spring on the Outer Banks, organizers are reminding the community that Pride Passes are now available for the upcoming Outer Banks Pride Week 2026, set for May 29-31.
Hosted by OBX Pride, Inc., the annual celebration brings a full weekend of events to the Outer Banks while highlighting the region’s inclusive spirit and vibrant LGBTQIA+ community.
The 2026 celebration carries an extra layer of significance. Unlike previous years when the all-inclusive event was held later in the season, this year’s Outer Banks Pride Week will serve as an early kickoff to Pride Month, which is celebrated throughout June across the United States and around the world.
For those looking to experience the full weekend lineup, the OBX Pride Pass offers all-access entry to several of the festival’s most popular events. The pass, currently priced at $175, includes experiences such as the Out at Sea Sunset Cruise, a Friday night drag show, the Big Gay Drag Brunch, and more throughout the weekend.

While some events require tickets or a Pride Pass, the centerpiece of the weekend remains completely free. The 15th Annual OBX Pride Festival, scheduled for Saturday, May 30 from noon to 6 p.m., will once again take place at Roanoke Island Festival Park in Manteo. The festival is free and family-friendly, welcoming attendees of all ages for an afternoon of live music, food and craft vendors, entertainers, games, and more.
