Outer Banks Health welcomes ThriveOBX™-inspired display from the Outer Banks Stamp Club

The Outer Banks Stamp Club generously created and donated a stamp display inspired by the ThriveOBX Thrive5© pillars of well-being. The artwork features five stamp collections from past decades, each representing one of the five pillars: Nourish, Move, Purpose, Engage, and Balance.

The display invites viewers to draw a visual connection between the history preserved through philately (the collection and study of stamps) and the five principles of well-being. Every detail of the display is thoughtfully sorted, selected, arranged and handcrafted by club members, with paint colors carefully matched to the Thrive5 palette. The display hangs on the wall connecting the Outer Banks Health Hospital main lobby and the Emergency Department waiting area.

Outer Banks Health welcomed the display for all to enjoy as a creative, engaging, and educational piece celebrating both the art of stamp collecting and the importance of well-being. This unique contribution highlights how community partners can support the ThriveOBX mission of keeping well-being top of mind in the community in meaningful and inspiring ways.
