The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony and Vibe@5 networking event at High Tide Taphouse in Kitty Hawk, marking the craft taphouse’s one-year anniversary in business and celebrating its newest membership in the Chamber.
Since opening its doors one year ago, High Tide Taphouse has quickly become a favorite gathering spot on the Outer Banks. Owners Kelly and Scott Keener have built a welcoming destination taphouse featuring up to 44 rotating taps with a focus on North Carolina, Virginia, and regional craft breweries — offering locals and visitors alike what many consider the best draft selection on the beach.
The event, kicked off by Chamber Board Chair, Melissa Harrison, brought together Chamber Board members, SPARC Committee members, fellow Chamber members, and fans of High Tide Tap House, for an evening of celebration and community connection. Special thanks to event sponsor ServPro, whose generous support provided catering for the festivities.
“We are so grateful to the Outer Banks community for an incredible first year,” said Scott Keener. “Becoming a member of the Chamber feels like the right next step, and we look forward to being more involved and connected as we continue to grow.”
