The Manteo Community Health Center is teaming up with the Dare County Shrine Club, Pioneer Theater, and the Town of Manteo for a two-day weekend fundraiser.
The weekend events begin Friday, June 5, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. during Manteo’s First Friday at the historic Pioneer Theater, located at 109 Budleigh St.
Attendees can purchase BBQ sandwiches, fried shrimp, and fish bites, all freshly prepared by the local Shriners at the Dare County Shrine Club.
The fundraiser continues Saturday, June 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Downtown Manteo Market, hosted in George Washington Creef Park at 104 Fernando St.
The health center will serve breakfast biscuits during the morning market hours.
In addition to the food lineup, community members can participate in a 50/50 raffle. Funds raised will benefit the health center’s initiatives, and staff members will be on-site to meet with neighbors and supporters.
