The Dare Arts Pride Project will host a free screening of Will & Harper (2024) at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at Dare Arts in Manteo.
The documentary film follows actor Will Ferrell and longtime friend Harper Steele as they embark on a cross-country road trip following Steele’s gender transition. The documentary explores friendship, identity and acceptance through their journey across the United States.
The event is open to adults ages 18 and older who are members of and allies to the LGBTQ+ community.
Admission is free, but seating is limited. Advance registration is required at DareArts.org/prideproject.
The screening is part of the Dare Arts Pride Project, which offers programs and events celebrating and supporting the local LGBTQ+ community.
