Celebrate the First Friday of August this Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Manteo.
On August 7, Dare Arts is hosting an opening reception for David Roberts’ mixed media exhibition, featuring live music by Mary Joy McDaniel + Amara Breisch in The Courtyard. There will also be live music across town, including Peter Boehling in The Davis Lot, The Brian Smith Band at Magnolia Pavilion, The Albemarle Sound at Poor Richards, The Bar Cats Duo at NouVines, Maddie Lenhard, Bonnie Stewart, & Ruth Wyand at The Pioneer Theater, and DJ Night with Lady Lux at Lost Colony Tavern.
In addition to live entertainment, the First Friday Manteo Stroll will feature downtown shops and restaurants staying open late with specials, sales, and events.
