The Town of Duck is bringing back a free environmental initiative designed to help property owners protect both their septic systems and the surrounding coastal ecosystem.
s”Healthy Tanks, Happy Banks” offers eligible Duck property owners a complimentary, non-invasive septic inspection at no cost. The program aims to encourage everyday habits that safeguard local groundwater, waterways, and wildlife.
Inspections are scheduled to begin in mid-October following the Duck Jazz Festival.
Space for the program is limited, and applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Property owners can find application instructions and program details at ducknc.gov/healthytankshappybanks.
