Currituck Chamber, YMCA partner for ‘Spooktrackular’ trunk-or-treat event; Member trunks open

Families across Currituck County can don their best costumes and kick off the Halloween season early as the Currituck Chamber of Commerce and Currituck Family YMCA team up for the annual Halloween Spooktrackular.

The free trunk-or-treat event takes place Friday, October 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Currituck Family YMCA, located at 130 Community Way in Barco. Children and parents can safely trick-or-treat among decorated vehicle trunks hosted by local businesses and community organizations.

Currituck Chamber members are invited to join the fun, showcase their business, and connect with local families by decorating a trunk and handing out treats. Participation is limited to 40 vehicles, so interested members are encouraged to reserve their spot early.

Member registration is available online through the Currituck Chamber website.
