Strong gradient winds will also be present this afternoon and evening ahead of the front.

A Wind Advisory continues for Downeast Carteret through Oregon Inlet for winds gusting up to 45-50 mph. Gale Warnings continue south of Oregon Inlet including Pamlico Sound.
