Dare County invites the public to attend an open house to celebrate the completion of the newly constructed Dare County EMS Station 4 in Southern Shores from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024.
The open house will also include:
- Guided tours of the new facility
- Light refreshments
- Free blood pressure checks provided by Dare County EMS staff members
- Hand-only CPR training
- “Stop the Bleed” training
In addition to the open house, a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2024, featuring several key speakers.
The new 8,800-square-foot facility—which is located at 28 East Dogwood Trail in Southern Shores—is part of a multiphase project to improve and modernize outdated Dare County EMS facilities throughout the county in order to better serve the residents and visitors of our community.
