The Town of Kill Devil Hills will have a temporary road closure beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024, for the east end of W. Durham Street at its intersection with N. Croatan Hwy., for utility construction by Vision Directional Drilling, Inc. (336-570-4621) for the Car Wash under construction at the northwest corner of W. Fifth Street.
Through traffic on W. Durham Street will be prohibited during this work. Local traffic may use W. Avalon Dr. or W. Fifth St. to detour around the closure. W. Durham St. will remain open from the west for access to adjacent homes.
The temporary road closure is scheduled to end by 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2024.
