Dare County reports 22nd COVID-19 death


Dare County Health and Human Services reported the county’s 22st COVID-19 death on Tuesday, the eighth since August.

The death was reported on the health department’s daily dashboard and no other details were released.

Since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, 6,126 county residents have tested positive for COVID-19.

The county reported 28 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, and 56 active positive cases, with three people hospitalized.
